The Longest Processing Time rule results in the following measures of effectiveness:
Average completion time   = total flow time / no. of jobs
                                        = 103days / 5
                                        = 20.6days
Utilisation     = total processing time / total flow time
                    = 28days / 103days
                    = 28.2%
Average no. of jobs   = total flow time / total processing time
                                = 103days / 28days
                                = 3.68 jobs
Average job delays = total delays days / no. of jobs
                                = 18days / 5
                                = 9.6days
